What is TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT?

TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT is an indie game event that started in Kichijoji, Musashino City in 2023 with the hope that it will be a place where various talented creators, mainly those working on indie games, can come together and aim for the top.

For creators, it is an opportunity to present their work and interact with users and creators, and for users, it is an opportunity to discover and experience new games and creators. It continues to develop as a place where creators, fans, and the local community come together to create and nurture new possibilities. In 2024, the second event, more than 9,000 visitors came, creating an exchange that transcended age, gender, and nationality. This year, the third event, was held to further strengthen the creation of an easy-to-play environment, business matching system, and efforts with the entire Kichijoji city, and to show the charm of indie games and the various cultures rooted in Musashino City and Kichijoji to the world, marking a step toward becoming a “local x global event.”
