The Curtains is a rock project by Kanata Blue, who has a unique career as a medical school graduate and is involved in a wide range of activities including music, writing, and cultural activities.
His outstanding sense of melody is easy to understand and reminds us of the UK rock of Oasis, the Beatles, Blur, and other bands that form the backbone of his music. It is a hybrid of “Japanese Britpop music” that is urban and refreshing, but also has a bedroom feel that is somehow languid and melancholy.

Their debut single, “Just Biscuits for You,” became a hot topic on social media after being recommended by “HOLIDAY! RECORDS,” a distro for domestic indie artists.
