The Curtains is a rock project by Kanata Blue, who has a unique career as a medical school graduate and is involved in a wide range of activities including music, writing, and cultural activities.

They became a hot topic after being recommended by “HOLIDAY! RECORDS,” a distro for domestic indie artists.
Their outstanding sense of melody is easy to absorb and reminds one of the UK rock backbone of Oasis, the Beatles, Blur, and others. It is a hybrid “Japanese Britpop music” that is urbane and refreshing, yet somehow also has a bedroom feel that is filled with languidness and melancholy.
